From 7–9 May 2026, we gather in Antwerp for the 5th Vesalius Continuum Triennial Conference. As in previous editions, we’re delighted to present our accompanying exhibition: Fabrica Vitae – The Fabric of Life.9 May 2026 - 15 August 2026
This year opens a beautiful opportunity for dialogue. Rather than a standalone show, Fabrica Vitae will enter into conversation with the existing exhibition Caritas Ars Medica at the Lambotte Museum. The space naturally invites exchange and reflection—glass cabinets allow for subtle interventions, while key works already create a strong emotional centre.
Our intention is to respond with care and sensitivity—working with the current display, adding resonance rather than interruption, and shaping a shared, thoughtful presentation.
At the heart of this edition is Caritas. Beyond “charity,” it speaks of active love for humanity—compassion rooted in responsibility. A form of care that connects knowledge, medicine, art, and ethics, grounded in dignity and presence.
